i Bond problem w Hotmail email!
I’ve been trying to get into Treasure Direct for weeks now. I missed the highest interest rate and I , of course, would love to get in on the current rate. I believe I was able to open an account, but they never sent me an account number. When I go into I forgot my account number, I fill out all the information and it states the site is down and try again later. This has been going on for many, many days now. I’m unable to get through on the phone number on their web site. Help!

You had a problem shared by millions: You have a hotmail email — and it blocked all the emails TreasuryDirect sent to notify people of their account numbers. Please respond to the email notification you will get about your post being answered. Hit reply, and give me your name, email address, and phone number. I’ll pass it on to Treasury and they will call you to give you your account number. Shame this caused you to miss the higher savings bond rates.
