i bonds
I purchased two different ibonds for my grandchildren but did not do it as a gift thinking i was supposed to put it in my “gift box” after 5 days. Think I screwed up!! I tried calling and was told there was an hour and 15 minute wait and I’m not sure I was even going to the right place. I decided to ask Terry. Can you help??

Wait till they show up in your account, and then follow directions at TreasuryDirect.gov to transfer them as a gift to each grandchild. I think (but I’m not sure) you’ll need their SS numbers. I’ll find out about taht and add to this response after I talk to treasury.
