Do you recommend buying i bonds now or waiting until later in the spring.

If you’re going to buy them, buy them now. But no matter when you buy them, youll get 6 months of the current 6.89% interest. And then the subsequent 6 months will get the rate that will be announced on May 1st, likely lower as inflation seems to be coming down.
