I opened an account in October 2022 and purchased I Bonds. When will the interest for the previous 6 months show in my account?

In the 5th month! That’s to account for the potential 3 month penalty if you were to cash them in, plus they pay 1 month in arrears. It really doesn’t matter since you must hold them for at least one year!
