I bonds

By Terry Savage on April 25, 2023 | Chicken Money

Terry I have appox 160k sitting in a savings account at Chase earning very little. I have heard you on wgn talking about these Ibonds. Not sure about how to go about doing this. The 160k is our back up money and not needed or used for day to day expenses. I have a pension and ss and seperate investments valued around 1.5M. Does it make sense to invest part of our savings?

Terry Says

NO! I-bonds are a longer-term investment with a $10,000 annual limit.
Instead consider Treasury bills. Read this: https://www.terrysavage.com/t-bills-beat-cds/
