I Bonds — buying them
I recently heard you talk to John Williams on the radio today but I didn’t quite finish your conversation about I Bonds. I did open an account with Treasury Direct today but I still don’t know how to purchase the bonds. I’m not very good with computers but if you would be so kind is to explain the process again I would be extremely grateful. Thank you.

You’ve already done the hard work! Once you have your account, you simply log in and then click on the orange tab that says “buy direct”. You’ll be given choices — scroll down to I-bonds.
You already put in your banking information so all you have to do is click to decide how much $$ worth of I-bonds you want to buy.
