I purchased $10,000 in I Bonds 10/22 so it has been almost a year – can you tell me if I should leave it for another year? Not sure if the rate will change and if so by how much.

The rate will change on Nov 1 — and it will be lower for the next 6 month period. Not sure exactly what the rate will be until announced in the next few days.
Yes, just put this bond away and keep it for 5 years!
