hello mrs Savage

My father passed in 2004 was a hard working blue collar worker. His eldest son is tarnishing his name Il stats tax are being sent to collections under my fathers name but his eldest son social security number. How can I highlight the difference in people? His eldest is a irresponsible has filed for bankruptcy twice among several other things. Is living with his mother that is under hospice and refuses to assist. Is just interested in what has been left to him after her passing.

Terry Says

Well, filing income taxes under a false social security number is FRAUD. I suggest that you report this to the FBI by calling 1-800-CALL FBI.
It’s not just a matter of “tarnishing” his name. They will go after the son for filing a fraudulent tax return and he will be so busy fighting off jail time (and free federal housing) that you can step in and care for your mother!
