IDES
I was officially furloughed due to the pandemic as of May 1st. I applied for unemployment on May 4th. Two weeks later I received my debit card with a letter stating my payments would show up on my card in 2-3 days. I immediately activated my card. As of today, June 9th still no payments. I call repeatedly everyday and get a recording and a hang up. What should I do? I work for a suburban park district which won’t open my position until we are in Stage 5. Until then i don’t have any salary. Thank-you,

This is one of the tough ones. There is no way to contact IDES, though I keep pushing questions through to them. I will do the same for yours. But take comfort in knowing that they are coming back to work next week, supposedly, and then things should start moving along!
