IDES Extra $300
Is it really only for people who already receive at least $100 a week? That makes no sense. My wife was laid off from her position at a dental office. Due to her Qualifying period etc, she was only approved for $52 a week. So now without the $600 it sucks, but because she gets less than $100 a week she will not receive the extra $300 benefit.

That is one of the more illogical aspects of the “extended” $300 plus $100 unemployment benefit. But as noted in the answer below — this benefit is only expected to last a few weeks — AND, the state has to get its computer system adjusted to even pay out the money! Lots of luck with that.
Your only hope is for Congress to pass another extended unemployment bill for all.
