IDES For the Employer
Hello Terry,
How does an employer find out if they are or not chargeable for an unemployment claim? SIDES electronically notifies when there is a claim, before March there would be a paper notification in the mail from Illinois with the chargeable information. There should be a stack of these in our mailbox but there has been no communication from IDES in months. Thank you,

Thats a big problem for employers, since IDES is basically closed down because the governor has not called the workers back! But as bad as it is for employers, wondering if they will be assessed for unemployed workers, it’s worse for those who are trying to make claims and get paid! Many have been waiting for three months now!
