IDES letter — but no claim!

By Terry Savage on February 15, 2021 | Wild Card

Today my wife and I received a UI Finding letters from IDES.
Neither of us have worked in years.
The letter looks like it really is from the state office.
Your current payment status is pending debit card.
It states records indicate ineligible for Unemployment benefits didn’t earn enough.
In UI Monetary Determination section all amounts are zero.
If questions call (312) 338 4337 or ides.illinois.gov

I strongly think its scam oriented because it has Last Employer=Flexera, Last Day worked=4/10/2020, Reason=Laid-Off(Lack of Work)
Flexera is a company in same town as we live but today is the first time I ever heard of it.
What action should we be taking, please advise.
Thanks for your informative info I hear on WGN.

Welcome to the world of identity theft! YOu should do EVERYTHING on this list — so read this article carefully.

And since you know the corporation and it is in your town, I suggest you contact their HR department and report this. You can’t be the first person this has happened to –but they might be trying to figure out just how many claims have been made on their account.
