IDES letter sent to retiree
The letter is full of misinformation, ie: my home address; a claim?; last employer; last date worked; etc. I have been retired for years and have not worked since my retirement. Subject letter is wanting me to certify, certify on an unemployment claim? The letter states benefit to begin on 12/06/2020 and end on 12/05/2021???
What is my next step? I called the Springfield number listed on the letter (800-244-5631) on my husband’s phone BUT I provided NO information. Thank you!

Don’t call that number again — you are the victims of identity theft, which has been focused on senior citizens who are retired and did not apply
