IDES on WGN Friday
Thank you so much for asking my question to the IDES spokesperson regarding receiving PPP and whether or not I need to reapply for unemployment or continue to certify when the PPP ends mid-June. I don’t think she really answered my question. I just tried calling IDES and can’t get through to anyone for an answer. Is there any way you can check on this again? Thanks again!

I asked twice because I was confused too. But since it is in the same year, you go back to your original claim number and certify again to restart the benefits when the PPP ends. YOu don’t have to start a new claim process. Get back to me if you have a problem when that re-employment period ends!
