IDHA – Emergency Rental Assistance
Hi Terry. I heard you on WGN a couple weeks back discussing the Emergency Funds from the IDHA for renters & landlords. I am a landlord of a house in Park Forest and we submitted & applied for the emergency funding back in August/September and received an email of receipt, etc. As of now we have not received any funds and contacted the IDHA several times where I’m told they are late due email etc issues. My question – is there someone we can reach out with the status as it has put tremendous burden as you know. Thanks you much for your help! John.

I actually passed your post on directly to my contact at IHDA — and included your phone number (which I deleted here). I think it’s just cruel to keep people hanging until the end of December –which is the deadline for distributing both the mortgage and rental assistance funds. I keep pressing them for “when” will people either know –or NOT know! So I’m trying!
