IL tax refund
Hello ,
I am waiting for a taxi refund from Illinois. I checked their web site and the refund has been released and was suppose to be paid in approximately 10 days. We are going on 3 weeks. Who can I contact to see what’s going on?

Did you give them direct deposit banking information for your refund? Or were you expecting a check in the mail? And, if so, are you sure the account has your correct address?
There’s been a holiday, so perhaps the mail is slow. I’d wait another two weeks before contacting them. If you still haven’t received it, then you might ask for it to be sent via direct deposit. Getting through to them will be a hassle, for sure. The only number I have for them is 1 800 732-8866.
