Illinois income taxes UPDATE. OFFICIALLY JULY 15
When must I file IL taxes? all information still says April 15th. I have reached out to my alderman, the governor’s office, all news stations but can’t get an answer. Federal tax deadline is extended to July 15th. but what about IL??? Thank you.

I tried to reach the Illinois tax department, but everything is shut down. They have not posted anything about a delay, but I believe you can safely assume that it is postponed until July 15th along with the Federal tax return due date (and payment date). If otherwise, I promise to make a HUGE noise about it, and I know others will too!!
