Illinois unemployment benefits and filing claim

By Terry Savage on June 21, 2020 | Wild Card

I have two jobs. Must I file a serparate claim for each job? (Illinois)

Terry Says

YOu should file a claim for the job where you earned the most. Then add the income to the total of money that you have lost via unemployment. This ALWAYS gets messed up at IDES. If you even get the benefits from one job, you’ll be ahead of the game because you will also get the Federal $600.
BUT you must have earned $1600 from that ob in the past 12 months — and $440 in one of those quarters that is NOT the highest earning quarter in the period, in order to qualify.
