Is there a way find out Information regarding a dormant IRA account? The last information I have is from 2011. Is there a data bank (kept by the government or financial institution) that one can access to find this information? I will turn 73 in 2025. I do not want to be penalized for not removing the required amount as required each year.

You have never heard from the financial custodian of that account? If they haven’t contacted you, the account was likely escheated (turned over) to your state of residence. Contact the State Treasurer’s office to do a search of abandoned financial property.
