Index Fund
Hi Terry, Thank you for all your work. This is two questions rolled into one. My daughter is changing jobs. I advised her that she should have her 401k rolled into a broad index fund. I recommended a call to Schwab because you always recommend them. I then thought that this was a good time for her to set up her own index fund with Schwab. I am wondering what broad index fund you would recommend for either of these options. I was thinking a broad index fund which she could have money atutomatically deposited in each month to get her started. Again, thank you in advance.

Once there, and assuming she is young enough to let the money grow, I’d just suggest the S&P 500 stock index fund for the investment.
