Inheritance

My daughter inherited $25000
Via life insurance. She is on ssdi
Where is a good place to put this cash? Savings account.?

Terry Says

Go immediately to a major bank in your town and put it in a Money Market Deposit Account. It won’t pay much interest, but it will be perfectly safe. They may try to sell you something else to do with the money, but insist on what I have recommended, no matter what other deal they offer! This account will have checks — but she should avoid using them and drawing down the money except for emergencies (or to pay off high interest rate credit card debt).
