Inheritance / Social Security
I will be inheriting a significant amount of money in September. I’m retired & waited to 70 to start receiving Social Security.
Checking to see if the inheritance will affect my Social Security monthly income. If so, what can I do to avoid this issue.

Neither an inheritance, nor the value of any other assets will impact your Social Security check. It is solely based on your work history. Congrats for waiting til age 70 to get the maximum benefit.
And now, please make sure your own estate plan is updated. Who gets that money if you don’t spend it all?!
