American Xpress offers a checking account at 4.35% and I realize it’s not as high as your T-bills but is that also a good idea as far as investing some money. No monthly fees, no minimum balance, FDIC, insured. Thank you!

Currently 6-month TBills are paying 5.35%. That is how American Express gets rich, not you. If you don’t need instant access to your money, stick w TBills.
