Hi Terry.
We enjoy watching you on WGN Chicago. I just inherited $5000. What would be a good investment at this time.
We are retired and don’t need any of this money to live on. We set up a 529 college fund for the Grandkids
already. I would like to invest it and watch it grow. A little risk is ok.

How much risk? How long a time horizon? I think you should save half and invest half in the grandkids 529 plan. That’s what I would do with it instead of picking a stock. If you want risk, take a vacation to Las Vegas — at least the hotel will be memorable!
