What do you think about annuities?

Terry Says: Uh uh — that answer could fill a book — or at least a chapter in a book.  In fact, it did!  Go to my website to get a copy of The Savage Truth on Money and read the chapter on annuities.  I have nothing especially for or against annuities.   In fact, I own some myself.  Used in the right place, with the right product, and the right features, they can help reach your investment goals.  But too few people understand how the work, what they cost, and the limitations in various products.  That creates problems.  There are so many types of annuity products, so many different personal situations, that I’ll let you read the chapter and see where you fit!
