IRA

By Terry Savage on February 03, 2022 | Financial Planning / Retirement

I am currently retired age 68 and withdrawing from my IRA. Should withdrawing monthly or should I withdraw all of it, if so where should I put this money?
Thank you

Well, you really should make a plan in order to make your money last as long as you do! The stock market can impact that as well. If you don’t NEED the money and are just looking for a place to put it–then DON”T WITHDRAW! You aren’t REQUIRED to withdraw until age 72! So leave it in there to grow tax-deferred. And if you’re worried about the stock market, move some to a money market fund INSIDE the IRA where it will be safe, and still tax-deferred.
