I’m turning 65 i have my IRA with vanguard Windsor admiral . Do I keep it the way it is till I start my mandatory distribution and beyond or do I cash out and open a IRA savings account FOR SAFETY thank you very much

Terry Says

NO — you don’t CASH OUT! EVER! (Until you have to take RMDs) You just ask Vanguard to move half of your money from your stock mutual funds into a money market mutual fund!!
