Ask Terry Questions IRA, Now What?

IRA, Now What?

By Terry Savage on February 28, 2022 | Financial Planning / Retirement

Hi Terry, my friend is now 60 years old and pulled her money out of her 401-K at 59 and placed it in an IRA. She has $100,000 sitting in an account making less than $50 interest each month. What are her options for a better return?

Terry Says

I hope she didn’t ‘Pull it OUT” — but instead rolled it into that IRA, avoiding taxes
As to how the IRA should be invested — it all depends on her age, risk tolerance and need for cash flow.

Suggest a meeting or two with a FIDUCIARY financial planner through www.wealthramp.com to figure out her entire picture. Investing does not happen in a vacuum. And at Wealthramp she will be matched with someone who is NOT trying to sell her anything — but promises to act in her own best interests.
