IRA with FIDELITY
I am 71 hrs old and have my IRA with Fidelity and worried about loosing my money. Not sure what to do. Please advise. Thank you very much.

If you’re scared of losing ANY money, then contact Fidelity — and ask them to move the money INSIDE the IRA into a money market fund. You won’t earn any interest these days — but you won’t lose any money. And it might not keep up with inflation! So since you likely have nearly 20 years to live and use this money, maybe you should keep 20-25% in their “balanced fund” which still owns stocks but is a bit more conservative. That way you can sleep better at night and still get some future growth over the long run.
