Love your advice on WGN. My mother passed in June 2021. Had to file a paper return. I have gone to Find My Refund but they have no record. I mailed on March 29. Many attempts to call but after many prompts they apologize and disconnect. My concern is that it is lost in the mail or are they just that far behind for input. Any ideas. Thank you.

It’s likely that this return was set aside because it is complicated and was sent in on paper.
Try creating an Id.me account with the IRS using this link.
Hope you sent the return in by registered mail so at least you have a confirmation of receipt.
