IRS question
I filed my S Corp paperwork and MAILED IT on March 15th. I have the post office receipt! The IRS said I was LATE!! They want me to fill out and 843 form AND PROVE IT! Do I have to do all this?

I’m afraid you should. That’s why I always recommend registered mail. They can get messed up. Just do it — and let me know what happens. And be sure to send the form in by REGISTERED MAIL! (keep the original receipt, send a copy!)
