First, your the best. I work on phones for United and helped you years ago when your flight canceled. You sent me a signed book, thanks. So my question, I heard you on radio today, I have been waiting for my IRS return since Feb. My husband passed away in Feb and we filed jointly. You touched on that but did not apply to caller. I did get covid stimulus for him. I have been checking on their website and just says “processing” Appreciate any info you have.

Great to hear from you, and very sorry for your loss. The IRS issued a press release 10 days ago, saying they were “almost caught up” on tax returns, and should be issuing tax refunds in the next month. If you are waiting for a refund, then it should come soon — along with interest dating back to April 15, which will come in a separate check or direct deposit. If you haven’t received yours by late September, please write back.
