Is using mint.com safe

By Terry Savage on December 15, 2014 | Financial Planning / Retirement

If I add all my accounts into mint.com, is it safe and secure. Please advise

Terry Says:  Yes, Mint is secure and encrypted at the highest level. This free tool is available at Mint.com — a company that is owned by Intuit, parent company of Quicken.  You don’t have to worry.  They use encryption that is at the same as you have when paying bills online.   They are allowing you to check your accounts through your smartphone at any time, and will set up “alerts” to remind you when you are going over your budgeted amount in any category.  So there is no excuse for not knowing your balances, paying overdraft fees, or getting carried away when shopping!
