OK, this is a very vulnerable time. And I’d like to make sure you get help you can trust.
So right now, don’t make any quick moves.
But think about these issues:
1. Who is the person you would trust to have your healthcare power of attorney if you were ill?
2. Do you want to keep living where you are? Or is this a good time to move into a senior community?
3. If there’s money left over after you die, where do you want it to go?? A charity, a college, start thinking about that.
I don’t expect you to come up with answers immediately. Then it’s time to connect with a fee-only FIDUCIARY financial planner you can trust.
