Late bloomer has cash!!

By Terry Savage on March 29, 2022 | Financial Planning / Retirement

I sold my business after 17 years. At 57 years old. Where would you suggest I put the Cash I received from the sale? I have NO other investment / retirement savings.

Whew — that’s like telling the doctor you’re running a fever and asking what it could be! Can’t give advice without lots more info. BUT, you have stumbled across an incredible financial planning opportunity. You definitely need to meet with a FIDUCIARY, fee-only financial planner to discuss not only investments, but how you view your life moving ahead.

Will you start another business, work for someone else? Is it enough cash for you to never work again? What will you do about health insurance? Do you have other family responsibilities? etc, etc.
Your future is full of opportunity and you need to discuss on many levels — with someone qualified to talk you through this entire picture.
You may have heard me talking about a service called Wealthramp.com, which matches you up with a FEE-ONLY FIDUCIARY planner that has been carefully vetted. Here’s a link to the explanation on my website.. I get absolutely NOTHING out of this recommendation except the knowledge that you will be in good hands!
Please leave the money in the bank until you go through this process. And beware — there are a lot of sharks out there who see you as bait!! (Some of them will be women!!)
