Another great article by you in last Sunday’s Tribune, “Living with inflation”! I’m a conservative guy, with a 5-year cd maturing in 10/2023 earning 2.9%. LOL! You wrote in your article about Series I Savings Bonds. Do these work the same as cds? Just wondering. Thanks, Ron

Even better. You don’t pay taxes on the earnings till you cash them in –at least 5 years down the road. So in that sense, they must be a longer-term investment than your CD.
Read this article on how to buy I-bonds. The only problem is you can only buy $10,000 of them!
