Loan forgiveness
It is not clear from your article how to apply for loan forgiveness under these new rules? Must I first have been paying the loan for 10 or more years? How/where do I apply? The gov site is just as confusing.

Now it’s unclear whether new applicants will be taken in the President’s loan forgiveness program. The first step is to consolidate all Federal Loans, and then to apply for the Income Driven Repayment plan — now called SAVE.
