Marriage After 50 years together!

By Terry Savage on November 19, 2021 | Wild Card & Pandemic Related

My partner and I have been together for nearly 50 years. We’ve always maintained both of our resedences but spend most of our time at my place.
We have finally decided to marry. We applied for the license and will be married by a judge in December.
It just occurred to us that we know nothing about the legal implications. What changes are required by marriage. We want as few changes as possible.
Thanks for your help

OMG — there is a LOT to discuss BEFORE you jump into the legality of a marriage! (But my congratulations on making a relationship last for 50 years!!)
There is so much to tell you that I co-authored a book on the subject! It’s called “The New Love Deal: Everything you must know before marrying, moving in, or moving on!”
Here is a link to it on Amazon.
I see it now costs $16.95. Here is a personal guaranty that it will save you at least ten times the cost in mistakes you won’t make!!

Please, please do not act until you have read the relevant chapters!!
