Medicare card for discounts?
Right now on Facebook they are saying seniors can get a card for the grocery store. You just have to put in your area code to see if you are eligible?

Another baloney sales pitch for Medicare Advantage plans, I think.
Some stores do offer discounts to seniors. There are other ways to prove your age than by showing a Medicare card! Your Social Security number was removed from your Medicare ID almost a decade ago. Do NOT use your Medicare card as identification — except to a hospital or physician which requires it for reimbursement.
