Medicare part D
I was recently let go from my job. I was on Medicare a I applied for Medicare B. I provided my employer document showing I had insurance for 10 years with the company. I signed up for my supplement and Medicare D. The Medicare part D provider approved me sent me my card and then sent me a letter a week later and said that Medicare advised that I did not have medical insurance between May 1 2023 and current date. I called Social Security they said because I’m collecting widows or spouse Social Security that it was under my husband‘s SS number. I’m a little confused about this. I did call back the provider for Medicare Part D and they told me they resubmitted the paperwork back to Medicare. Is there anything else I can do or do I just have to wait and hope they straighten it out?
