Medicare Plan F
I am 77 single female income Social Security. I have had Plan F (Blue Cross) since 2011.I was just listening to AM radio and you said if you have Plan F hold onto it, but you did not say why.
F costs almost $500 mo more than G and being on a limited income,I was contemplating a switch.
2 health insurance brokers recommended doing that and it seems many people I know have done it to save money.
I take all your advice very seriously and I’m anxious to hear why you say stay with F
The savings between the 2 plans, includes the fact that G has a deductible that will increase to $240 a year in 2024

I know it’s expensive but it guarantees you will get the care you need vs an Advantage Plan.

Those brokers make a nice commission when they sell you an Advantage plan!!
But if you are just talking abaout switching from F to G, then you understand that you will have to pay the deductible each year. That’s the difference between F and G.
