I need to increase my federal taxes fo my social security checks. What’s the correct website to go on?

OK, you’re confused. Are you talking about Federal Tax Withholding from your Social Security check?
If so, here are the instructions — OR you could file a quarterly estimate to make sure you have paid in enough money for the year based on what you expect to owe An accountant can help you with that route.

To add tax withholding to your Social Security benefits, you can either submit IRS Form W-4V or manage your preferences through your online Social Security account.
Steps to Set Up Tax Withholding
Determine Your Withholding Rate: You can choose to withhold 7%, 10%, 12%, or 22% of your monthly Social Security payment for federal income taxes

Using Form W-4V:

Obtain the Form: Download IRS Form W-4V from the IRS website or request it from the Social Security Administration (SSA)

Complete the Form: Fill out the required information, including your name, address, Social Security number, and the percentage you wish to withhold

Submit the Form: Send the completed form to your local Social Security office. You can also call the SSA at 1-800-772-1213 to request withholding over the phone

Using Your Online Account:

Log In: Access your personal my Social Security account online. If you don’t have an account, you can create one

Navigate to Tax Withholding: Look for the Voluntary Tax Withholding option in your account dashboard.
Select Your Rate: Choose the percentage you want to withhold and submit your request. Changes typically take effect within 1-2 payment cycles
