missing 3rd stimulus
We are missing the 3rd stimulus for our college age daughter. Divorced parents. I claimed her in 2019 but filed my 2020 taxes and they based my payment on that, Her father claimed her in 2020 but his return didnt process yet so they based his payment on 2019s return. SOOOO neither of us got her portion. What can we do?

Wow she really slipped through the cracks. You just might have to wait until you file for 2021 for her to get the check as a credit. I really don’t see a way out of this situation! But I will pass it on to my contact at the IRS and see if he has a better idea!
