missing federal tax refund
Terry I filed on line last year March 17 2020 just before the shutdown I got a confirmation number saying they got it all summer long I went on the sight to check were is my refund it said we are processing it well in December when the sight shut down for a couple of weeks I went back in when it open up an they said they have no info I have tried calling everything got my state no problem federal big problem you are my last hope!!!! Please advise me what to do I feel like not even filing this year lost my job last year to covid I am 65 !I am losing sleep over this I think Im going to retire I dont know what else to do ! Thank You

First of all, you are not alone! Millions are still waiting for their tax refunds, which will eventually come in the mail, and with interest.
BUT you MUST file for 2020 if you did not receive the original $1200 stimulus, or this year’s January $600 stimulus! You claim it on line 30 and put in your banking information for direct deposit. Do it right now!
