Hello, my husband and I just recently purchased a home, is there something that we need to keep focused on besides keeping track of our expenses every month? Is there a way of getting work done on the house without breaking the budget? Also Is there a site that helps with saving or shows saving tips? thanks

You’re smart to get organized now, because owning a home is full of unexpected expenses. You need to build up a savings reserve!
Also, check to make sure that your monthly mortgage also includes a set-aside for property taxes. And make sure your homeowners insurance is paid on time, if it is not included in your monthly mortgage payment.
I highly recommend The Budget Kit workbook by Judy Lawrence, available on Amazon. Yes, it’s old fashioned paper, but it’s very helpful in planning!
