mortgage and credit score
Terry: My husband passed 8 years ago and I have never missed a bill, I have a Mortgage just now under one million and a Home line of of credit 100K which remained in his name although the mortgage was tenents in entirety and moved into my name legally through my attorney and the other not quite yet. My question is due to the large balance and payment (10k per month) should i move it over to the credit reporting agencies? Would it help or hurt? Can I get retro credit for all the years I have been paying if so? They have not picked up on it yet. /the Home equity has not yet been transferred out of my deceased husbands name. I was nervous to do this because I didn’t want them to call the loan. I am currently in the high 700 and 800 don’t understand why I vacillate as I never miss a bill but another question for another day.

It strikes me that you need much more financial planning advice than just belatedly dealing with your mortgage. In fact, it might be difficult for you to get a mortgage in your own name! So I don’t want to give blind advice.
You need the services of a Certified Financial Planner to go over your entire situation. Please read this link: https://www.terrysavage.com/pam-krueger-wealthramp/
