Mother who is suspicious and mistrusting of her fiduciary
Dear Terry , I am at wits end with my Mother. Can you please recommend someone who could act as an advisor for my mothers investments/ fiduciary. She thinks they are dishonest and only make trades and investments for their own benefit. I don’t think this is true at all. Is there is anyone in your office or a counselor who you can recommend it would be greatly appreciated … before i go insane…

Wait, maybe you’re the crazy one — and your mother is perfectly sane to be skeptical.
And how do you know that the person handling your mother’s account is a trusted fiduciary? Did they put that in writing. Did you look them up at FINRA.org, under “broker-check”?
Sorry, but I’m siding with your mother on this one! And the ONLY way I know to find a fee-only FIDUCIARY financial advisor you can trust, it to participate in teh Wealthramp matching program, run by my friend Pam Krueger. Please read this, and show it to your mother.

I’ll be interested to hear her reaction after she goes through the process. It is not a commitment to change — but it IS the only way to get an impartial and FIDUCIARY review.
PS I dare you to show this response to your mother!
