I’m glad your parents have created a Revocable Living Trust as an estate plan. They might not want you to know exactly where everything is going after their passing, but the entire concept is worth a discussion over a calm dinner.

Then give it to them and ask them to fill it out — in case of emergency –and then go over it with them. It just asks the “location” of important documents, account numbers, etc. But it also might reveal stuff they hadn’t considered — such as military separation records that entitle a free headstone, location of safe deposit box and key, etc etc.

And importantly WHERE is the documentation for this RLT!! Should have a copy at home, and also with attorney (and you need the attorney’s name and contact info). Also who has the healthcare power of attorney –and did they create a living will (end of life care)?
