Old bank account
We found an old CD account of my mothers, she died in 1993, she last used the account in1992.
the Savings and loan it was at has merged of sold twice since than. it doesn’t appear as though the
account was closed. My brother was also on the account, but died in 2019. is there a way to find the
money . Thank you

That money was long ago escheated (turned over) to your state Treasurer’s office. You can try a search there using names and SS numbers to see if there is money “waiting” to be claimed.
