Overpayment IDES — deductions?
Shoud the overpayment amount be paid now or will it continue to be deducted from the ongoing payments after 12/26/20? Thank you!

Amazingly there is a provision in the new stimulus bill — not yet signed — that would allow states to petition the government to NOT collect overpayments made under PUA. It will take a few weeks to sort this out, assuming the bill is signed as is. That would mean the state could stop demanding repayments of their overpayments, due to their wrong benefits calculations!
